We finally visited Cat Cafe Niko No Niwa this weekend and loved it there. I've read about these cafes in Japan and was so struck by this idea of sipping coffee with our animal companions especially when many of us live in small apartments and don't have the space to have a bigger pet. I've always said I will visit one day. Now that they are here, I don't have to plan for a long trip to have coffee and play with cats! The owners of the cafe did a wonderful thing adopting these cats who were once homeless and abandoned and giving us a space to share our love for them too.
Oh you went! I heard about it from a friend but haven't had the chance to drop by, even though it's so near to where I work. From your photos, the place looks great!

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of them in South Korea too. It's been awhile since I've been to one and Mike and I were just saying we have to make a return visit soon!
